Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose is an important cellulose ether. It is a white or milky white powder or granule. It is a good alternative polymer obtained after chemical modification of natural fibers. It is easy to dissolve in hot and cold water. It has an unusual and extremely comprehensive physical and chemical properties such as emulsifying dispersant, solid dispersibility, not easy to decrease, physiologically harmless, etc. It is a natural polymer derivative with a wide range of uses. It is colorless, odorless, non-toxic, and is not dissolve in organic solvents such as acid and ethanol. Its aqueous solution is alkaline or neutral transparent viscous liquid. It is compatible with other types of gum softeners and resin.
The superior properties of carboxymethyl cellulose CMC, such as: thickening, water retention, metabolic inertia, film forming ability, dispersion stability, etc., can used as thickener, water retention agent, adhesive, lubricant, emulsifier, Co-suspending agent, regeneration intermediates, biological intermediates and biological product carriers.
Our CMC product can be used in the manufacture of powder and liquid detergents. In-vitro studies in detergent industry have shown that CMC constitutes an (H) bond with cotton fibers in cotton weaving. The dirt trap occurs between negatively (-) charged powder particles and the negatively charged carboxymethyl groups. In this way, CMC traps the dirt in powder detergents and allows anti-redeposition with rinse water. Hence it is called an anti-redeposition agent. Furthermore, it improves the detergency and performance, resulting in economical benefits.
Fuxin high viscosity CMC is used in liquid detergents because higher water retention is required. High-viscosity instant CMC is used to make detergents and hand sanitizers. It is an ideal substitute for Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) and Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC).
Powdery Instant CMC
After surface treatment of CMC, the powder instant CMC obtained has good dispersing performance, does not clump, and has a fast dissolving speed.
Can be used as an anti-fouling redeposition agent, especially the anti-fouling redeposition effect on hydrophobic synthetic fiber fabrics. Washing powder, add 1% to the washing powder, so that the dirt during washing will no longer deposit on the clothes. Because of its anionic properties, it supplements the dirt and becomes negative ions, which is the same as the negative ion accumulation. So it is the ideal anti-fouling and redeposition agent for washing powder.
