CMC Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose for Oil Drilling Fluid Mud​

 

 

FUXIN® PAC & CMC can be used in drilling fluid, fixing fluid and fracturing fluid. In drilling fluid, it works as viscosifier, filtration reducer, and rheology controller; in fixing fluid, it is used to control fluid viscosity, suspend heavy objects, and avoid fluid loss; in fracturing fluid, it is used to carry stuffing and avoid fluid loss. And PAC also used as a thickener for low-density brines, as rheology modifier.

Instant products, like the granular PAC, used in severe environment, it will be more convenient and simpler, and it will be more effective in mud allocating.

 

Applications in Fresh Water, Sea Water and Saturated Water

Applications in Drilling Fluid
1. Protect the wall of oil well, prevent mud flowing away and carry crumbs.
2. Protect drilling bit and increase drilling speed.
3. In low solid or none solid drilling fluid, it can reduce the fluid loss and the thickness of the mud cake obviously.
4. Strong inhibition effect to shale swelling and disintegration.

 

 

Applications in Fixing Fluid
1. Protect the wall of the oil well, stop the fluid entering into the pores or cracks.
2. Control the fluid viscosity, heavy object suspension, and prevent fluid loss.

When CMC is used in fracturing fluid, it can bring ‘stuffing’ into the cracks of oil well in high efficiency and establish osmosis channel, which can effectively prevent fluid entering into oil well structure, reduce fluid loss, and lower the pressure.
The ultra high viscosity products can replace guar gum, reduce the production cost.
